Yes it was. Kickstand is always down.

Just take it to your dealer and have them check it out. It's under warranty...
That's the easiest..

First of all your avatar is ridiculous...very distracting. What were we talking about?

You think it could be going after only 3,200 miles? I hope not but I'll keep that inning. Thanks

Bike should start - even if not in Neutral (mine does)...warranty trip to dealer will be best bet.

It's like I have the run switch in the off position but it's on. Then I pull in the clutch in & hit the start button & it starts up as usual. Then to check to see if I really am that stupid (I really am), I shut the bike via the ignition then try starting it without pulling in the clutch & it starts right up! Friggin weird
Interesting; I have experienced the same thing and I do not have a PC-V but I do have the SEST. It has only happened a few times and it has happened when the bike was in neutral as well as when in first gear. When it has happened I simply pull the clutch in (or let it out and pull it in when in 1st gear) and the bike starts. The frequency of occurrence has been so infrequent that I am not going to worry about and it has always started on the second try when it has occurred.

Default Normal on my bike

I have a 2002 FLHTPI and thats how I start my bike. Its some kind of safety feature or something. Kinda like having to hold the power window button on an old Cadillac I had. Its definitely not a defect on my bike. When I bought the bike the dealer told me I had to do it. I think when you pull in the clutch it engages some switch which makes the circuit.

It shouldn't be doing it. Some bikes have the kickstand feature but not Harley's as far as I know. Did you notice the same thing prior to installing the PCV or tried unplugging it for a while to see if it still does it? A quick email to Jamie might save you a trip to the dealer who is going to trouble shoot before fixing anything and I would bet the PCV might be one of the first things they blame because it's not a Harley part. I would think if it has anything to do with the PCV Jamie has heard of it and can steer you in the right direction to getting it resolved.
I've also heard some of the newer bikes can't start while in gear, mine does. I'm not sure what models that is suppose to apply to or if it's a feature the dealer can activate or not but does your bike start if it's in gear? If not, that maybe something the dealer can turn off?
