Avon Air Cushion Grips
Just got the new Avon Air Cushion grips on. Went from stock to these. Wow! I like these grips. Didn't have gloves on today, but man these things have some grip (no pun intended). The grooves make it even a little more comfortable. Not sure I noticed any difference in dampening vibration. All in all I think these aren't too bad. I'd recommend if anyone is thinking about putting these on.

Just for the record, I've gone through two pair of these in 26K miles. TO be fair, Avon replaced them under warranty but both pairs of mine wore out prematurely. The rubber dissolves and begins to peel off, even if you were gloves all the time (like I do).

Hard to say why they'd wear faster for some riders

The issue is that the grips are too short which leaves a 1/4 gap where they neck down. Take a look at that other thread for details.
