Default oops i bought the wrong headset 5pin not 7

i bought a 5 pin headset on eBay the seller didn't bother to say it was for a 1996 touring bike my 2007 ultra has 7 pin as do all other post 1997 Harley Davidson ultras
is ther a way to convert from a 5 pin to a 7 pin a wiring schematic would be helpful if i could get one or if there was some kind of adapter that would do the job that would be even better

Unfortunately even if you could adapt the 5 pin to a 7 pin it still would not work, in fact a 7 pin plug only uses the same pins that the 5 pin does. It will plug into your ride and the headphones will work. The difference is the type of microphone used pre 98. It's not compatable with the newer radios, electret compared to condenser or the other way around I can't remember. Check my other posts and you'll find the wiring sequence as well as an adapter for computer style headsets.
