I am installing a factory cruise control on my '07 Road King Police bike and cannot find a "10 pin connector " to connect to the control module. I see seven wires in a bundle nearby. The wires look to have been cut at the factory and tied back to the bundle covering. Any help? Did the police bike even have a 10 pin connector? If not, are the 7 wires the ones I need to wire to a connector? Any ideas for finding a connector kit?

 

You need to check these guys out. The cop bikes are a little different.

Seems the guy(s) at Cruisemount make an adapter harness to do this job. I ordered one. We will see if is what I need.
Thanks again for the lead. The Harleydealers were surprisingly uninformed about this topic.

 

A friend of mine had this done to his cop bike by the dealer and they wound up ordering parts from Cruisemount. You might PM boogaloodude. I think he did it to his cop bike as well.

Let us know how it works out. I have heard that some dealers do a pretty good hack job when they remove the cop stuff and it makes it a little harder to find the correct wires.
