Wekcome to the Gown-ups!
Hi to all, my name is Gary.
This is just a small sample of the post and Threads I put up this last Summer on vibration problems with my new Dyna.

Back to today.
When this last Summer started I was so happy with my first new BT 2010 FXDC. For the first 5 or 600 miles I loved it, it did everything I wanted it to do and it was great. Then I started to run the rpm up and the very first time I got up close to 3900 rpm it went in to a harsh vibration, it did it every time in all 6 gears at the same rpm. I spent the rest of the year trying to fix it. About 4 weeks ago I decided it was time to move on. My Wife, God bless her, wanted me to be happy with my bike. We decided together to spend more $ so I could get a new bike. I came very very close to buying a Polaris Victory Vegas, comes with a 106 CI motor. I stated dealing on them and got a good deal on a 11 red Vegas. I drove them and spent a lot of time just setting on them, but nothing would happen, no matter what, I just don't feel any thing when I'm on them, just a dead feeling. So it was back to Harley the only bikes I get that feeling when just setting on them. I have always had a thing for the Fat Boy but I need bags and for long rides a windshield. If I add that to a FB it would cost about the same as a Road King. So today after about 10 days of dealing I traded my 10 FXDC in on a 11 King with cruise. All the papers work is done and the bike is paid for. They will deliver it to my home this Wednesday. As for my new King the only thing I don't care for is the looks of the big windshield. Before Spring gets here I will look in to my options for a small shield, I only use them for long rides and all I need is to keep the wind of my chest. One thing that was cool is when I test drove the bike before I paid for it was how easy it was to handle at slow speeds, it looks so big yet it seem to handle well. Looking forward to talking with all of you on this Touring Forum and learning new things about Touring bikes... A special thank you to "harleytuner" for his help and advice.

Changed to a King a month ago from a custom Fatboy and just love it, just change the seat and you will be able to ride from tank to tank with no problem :-)
I only put my screen on for the longer rides, not so keen on the look but sure makes cruising at highway speeds, 80+ more comfortable, plus only takes 2 sec to take it off when u get where your going (if u have somewhere to store it)
