Default Dyno horror stories??

I was reading another thread about dyno tuning and a few people don't like the idea of dyno tuning because they think it's to hard on the bike. Our shop has tuned a ton of bikes over the years and I know of only 1 that blew up. I was wondering if anyone here has had faiures due to dyno tuning. I'm not looking for "I had a bad tune" stories. I'm trying to find specific stories about people who's bike were broken on the dyno.

I don't think you're going to get much. Dyno tuning is no harsher on the bike than riding.

I know. that's the whole point of this thread. To let people know how running a bike on the dyno doesn't hurt it.

Looks like this thread has pretty much ran it's course already. I'm not a dyno tuner but I've set in on a few including one today. I can't see how what is done could be detrimental to a bike. I've seen lots of guys be much harder on their bikes than a competent tuner ever would.

Seen several engines blow on the dyno. Always something simple that could have been avoided if the frigginn tech was paying attn.

Oh yea, that was Detroit Diesel engines!
Never seen a problem watching bikes being dynoed.

Dyno tunes have prevented more engines from blowing then caused them to blow.

Like I said in the other thread, if your engine is broke in, in good condition, properly lubed and warmed up it shouldn't have any problems on the dyno but if not, it might grenade.
