Default My Aileron grips are sticky

I bought my bike used a couple of moths ago. It has Aileron grips which I like, but there are spots on them that looks like the "finish" is worn through. Those spots are sticky and my hands or gloves stick to those spots.
I either need to find a way to fix them, or get new grips. I like these, but if I buy something new I may get some that are different just because.

What kind of grips do you have that you really like?

This what I have now....

Are you using Armor All on your grips ?

Some of the rubber used on various accesories break down a bit when you use Armor All on them.I had some HD floor board inserts that got all gummy from using Armor All on them, but never had that problem on other HD stuff.

I haven't used anything on them, but they were already like this when I got it.

I'm assuming you are talking about the rubber portion.

Try a little dishwashing soap and water then let them air dry.

Any one that uses Armor All on grips needs no help, Darwin will take care of them. Armor All on your floorboards? Yikes! Not tryin to be a jerk but, I learned that Armor All lesson on any motorcycle parts when I was 13, after picking myself up and seeing my Dad laughing his butt off I stopped ever using it.

Grips,Footboards etc...if some Armor All's enough to make ya slip off then you're doing it all wrong.
