avon gripps who"s got em? any good?

I have a set of Avon grips on my new Wild 1 bars.
THEY DO NOT FIT CORRECTLY AND I WILL BE CHANGING THEM.
I emailed the company several times. This was the last response I received from the . . .
Unless you have a step down handlebars you can move the throttle housing .25" & clutch side to match up the grip. Our grips are for 1" bars only. You can call us at 800-334-7477 to talk to one of our technicians.
The issue is that the throttle side grip is not as deep as the stock grip. This leaves a 1/4 inch space showing where the bar steps up from 1". This is the reason that they state their grips are for 1" bars only.
