can anyone point me in the direction of how to pull codes via the odometer on an 03 FLHTPI?

Thanks Dawg. My 03 has been lighting up the red light once in a while, but then it clears. Last time I was riding around 2 up and it came on. As soon as I started laying into it it clears.

I have access to a HD code reader/laptop setup, but I'd like to figure it out without bothering my buddy.

Now that I have read it it reminds me of coding pre OBDII GM cars by jumping pins on the diagnostic connector.
