Heated grips vs Heated Gloves

Heated grips vs Heated Gloves
OK guys and gals, I recently upgraded from Dyna to Touring(Street Glide). This as you know, will add to my winter riding.(I live in the NorthEast) Before I make the investment, in your opinion which is better, heated grips or heated gloves? I don't intend to buy other heated gear, I can handle 25 degrees or so without, except for my fingers. What say you?

I recently got a new Ultra limited and it has the heated grips. They are definitely better than non-heated grips when it's cold, but I think gloves would be way better. With the grips, you're warming the inside of your hands but the outside and your fingers still feel the cold. Plus the clutch and brake lever are still cold too!

I like my heated grips but for the temps you"ll be riding in gloves are far better. Grips are sure nice but they only warm your palms and bottom of your fingers. Plus if you have gloves that'll keep the tops of your hands warm at those temps in the wind your palms will probably be sweating with the heated grips on. IMHO grips are great for moderately cold temps. Heated gloves for the cold stuff. Remember something else with grips. The bottom of your fingers will only stay warm if you grip your grips. Most folks ride with a open or relaxed grip on their bars. Add cruise control and even more so. Having a death grip on your bars to keep your hands warm when it's really cold can wear you out.

I like having both.
Heated grips work great in fall and spring when it's chilly in the early morning and at night, and warm during the day.
Heated gloves work great in winter when it's really cold all day.
+1 for the heated jacket liner as well. If your body core stays warm, your hands and feet also stay warmer.
Gerbing all the way for their lifetime warranty and great customer service.
