motorcycle trailer info
hello guys
bought a condo couple miles near the beach, very moist air. has no garage. looking to buy an enclosed motorcycle trailer to park bike in when down there. also to use it to transpo the bike back and forth, sometimes, due to inability to ride far distances because of back disability.
what is a good economical brand, and what size would be good? (not too large) where can I score one? thanks for ur help

Joe, I bought a enclosed 6X10 V-Nose Carry-on from Trailersforless on Ebay. cost around 3K, It was a nice Trailer. Very well built, light to pull. Only dropped my gas mileage 3mpg on the hwy. I recently sold it because it sat in the yard most of the time from not being used. Trailers for less is in Newnan and Fayetteville Ga. I see they have one just like the one I had on sale for 2895.00. I had an 08 UC at the time. The Trailer was big enough for it and extra's. good luck!

I have a 6x10 TC Trekker by Wells Cargo that I bought about a year ago. Its got the bike carrying goodies like the recessed D-rings in the floor, bike stand chock, etc. Its an excellent trailer, reasonably priced (was just over $3k as i recall), and has stood up well on the 3 long trips I have take with it.
6x10 is definitely the size if you are hauling or storing 1 touring bike. You will have plenty of room to walk around it and tie it down, and even put some odds and ends in with the bike like riding gear, tool box, etc. Get yourself a good all-weather padlock for the rear door and make sure you get some kind of lock for the hitch end so no one can hook it up and drive it away on you.

I was looking last year about this time and found a trailer dealer with the previous year's models on the lot, with ramp door, and was willing to toss in and install a wheel chock to boot for less than 3K........kind of cheap looking as I remember, maybe 1/8 in ply on inside but couldn't convnce other half

My trailer is a 5x10 and there's no problem. Side door is a must. Even my skinny little body can't do it without the side door.
