Have an 06 Ultra, bought the kit and a badlander seat for about $400.00, to include the electrical connectors that ultrakla$$ic sent out in a thread, takes about 2 minutes to do the change over. Well worth the time and effort, IMO.

 

Mine comes on and off in under 2 minutes. Washing, detailing, servicing and oh yeah...once you stay in a seedy part of town and take your saddlebags and tour pak inside at night you'll appreciate the detachability and FORGET the cost!

 

A Tour-Pak is on my list... but its cost has earned it a lower priority. I'd likely do a big bore kit before the TP when it comes to dropping north of a grand in one upgrade. However, the added storage would be a welcome addition. And, it would have to be detachable.

 

I had the QD on my 08 but found that I rarely rode with the tp off. I ride mine most everyday and haul the same **** one would carry if in a car.

I envy my buddies when they open thier tp and can fit a full face in there.
