That's where saddlebags come in.

If you're referring to the small leather TP that's on my bike, I love it, bought it unused as a take off on ebay for $425 including the quick release mount and shipping. That, along with the mustang solo and pillion gives me a lot of options. It has plenty of room and is dry in the rain.

If you're talking about the $1400 one, I don't think i would spend that much even if I could

I bought the QD for my bike thinking I would take it off if I was alone. Now I just like it to much to ever take it off.Nice to have the extra room for helmets, luggage,to lock up.I always liked the look of the TP on a dresser anyway.

I justed picked up a King TP off a 2006 Ultra with QD bracket, and a Passenger Back Rest with QD bracket for $625 "for all of it" Both are in near perfect condition.

I am pretty sure I got a great deal...What have people been paying??

How much might I expect to pay to get the TP painted red?

Looks like I need two different mounting kits for the bike, is this correct?

You are not posting any information about you bike. Without that, there is no way to know what will fit what.

5 minutes for me also

The cost made me wait when I bought my EGC this summer but I soon realized it did not take much to take off and put on. Since it would most likely be used just on trips I really don't want the docking hardware showing when off. I bought a set of SG strut covers so the notched covers don't show. It is more like 15 minutes to change and I do not see the big deal. No shortage of places to spend the money.

Own '09 Ultra myself and have always like the looks of Street Glide's Sporty Look. Anyways, I've been pondering back and forth whether to buy Detachable TP kit for the last 1.5 years. I've always liked the Pizza Box with all the extra lights in the back. Definitely will not buy the kit and spend my $600 elsewhere.

Thanks for the advice,

Thorey
