Default Tuner Question

I have been looking at tuners(new and used)and am on a pretty tight budget. I am buying my tuner, air cleaner, exhaust as I find the ones I want or can afford.
It is possible to install the tuner and run stock air cleaner and exhaust or would it be a waste of time? I looked on the V&H site and there is no settings for a stock set up with their tuner.

You could, but why would you? Be careful about buying a used tuner. Some of them marry up to the ECU they were first installed on.
Save your money till you can get all 3 together.

A tuner on a completely stock bike would be a welcome addition, I've spoke with many that bought a tuner right off the bat with just pipes and could tell a big difference over the stock ECM.
