I put a center stand on my Electra glide, don't use the "Jiffy Stand" much anymore. Bought it on e-bay for 123.00 and free shipping. Bolts to the "bow Tie" brace under the bike with two bolts, installation took about 15 minutes.

I can see already this is gonna be one of those threads where everyone is gonna tell you what they use and why and not answer your question.

Found this on "WIKI"

Originally, most bikes had a frame mounted 'center stand'. On most older HD models, there was a center stand clipped to the inside of the rear fender requiring the operator to lift the whole back end of the bike to swing it into place under the frame, the "jiffy stand" was a quick easy method of standing the bike up without getting a hernia...the term jiffy stand was coined to distinguish the center stand from the side or "kick" stand as it could be deployed in a 'jiffy'. My 1949 Harley WL has both stands, the center stand is only useful when changing the rear tire on the side of the road.

Default Jiffy stand

Its an acronym. 'just in for fun y'all'
I'm sure someone can come up with a better one.
Maybe a sponsor will throw in a $100 gift certificate for the best.
It's Christmas time

Its called a "Jiffy" Stand because, "Holy Crap, Are You Sure That Thing Will Hold Up My Bike?" Stand, didn't look right in the catalogs or MoCo literature.
