Stabil turns bad almost as fast as ethonal gas. It has caused me more problems than bad gas over the years. I for one only store gas with sea foam now.

Best if you can jsut drain the tank and clear the carb.

By the time I put Stabil in the snow blower last March, lawnmower in October, Harley, 32 Ford, and the car we don't use in Winter, I am just about gone through a big bottle of stabil.

What's the difference between Seafoam and Stabil and where do you find it? Not familiar with that brand

Should I just put the new Stabil in the tank ? or drain the gas tank now and just put in new gas? It runs but not smooth and maybe new Stabil will straighten it out when I run it for 5 minutes ?

You can get Seafoam at West Marine. I don't know what the difference is. I know at the auto parts stores around here they sell Satbil for marine use as well as regular Stabil. I guess I'll have to read the labels. I imagine the one for boats has something in it that bikes don't need.
