I went with the Ram Mount that has fingers, that no matter what, you are covered:

i have speed view. u can check your speed limt, 1/4 mile times, and it shows a chart of when you were on or off the throttle.

Try these on your motorcycle gloves: http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/cell-phone/e76e/ They work very well on the iPhone.
