question.. I'm thinking of putting on some yafee 10 or 12" bagger apes on my 08.
Q is .. is the TBW long enough do I need to replace? Thanks

The bars are not egg shaped so you can rotate them up or down at will.

It's long enough that you wont have to extend it. I extended mine and it ended up being really long. You will want to tape the green connector so it doesn't separate inside the bars. Make sure you tape up on the wires a little on both sides too.

You can get the SE TBW that relocates the plug to the bottom. It makes pulling the wires much easier.

I changed my bars without taking the inner off, but it would have been easier to just take it off. With everything that needs to come out, and the tight clearances, it is better to take it off.

Just take it off it's a learning experience that will serve you well in the future and help you understand your bike a bit better
