Schuberth fan here! Have a J1 for summer use and run a C3 for winter riding. Superb quality (German..) and solidity.

Use a Shoei Multitec for work (UK bike cop...until March...then freedom beckons!) and the C3 is better than this.

Mind you, most of you'se over the pond think a coloured hankie on the head is best :-)

I've had all three generations of Schuberth 'C' helmets, got the C3 for wife and I on Saturday, along with the built-in blue-tooth intercom set-ups. We have snow at present, so have yet to try them out! They are an excellent fit, very well made and I don't bother to look at other brands now. They remind me of the Bells of the 70s in terms of quality.

Arai helmets - Profile and Corsair models are pure bliss and ecstasy for fit and comfort. Arai has been and will remain the benchmark for all other helmet mfgs - pure perfection. Once you try 1on, you'll want to sleep in it......

thanks for the help.
I've been using a C3 for the past couple years. It's the best helmet I've owned by far and I've owned many Shoei and Arai. Extremely comfortable and very quiet. The retractable sun visor works great as well. Top quality and highly recommended.

I have been reading alot of reviews on the c3 having problems leaking, the visor falling down, and various plastic pieces breaking off/ separating. Anyone have these problems. I'm kind of scared to get one now. Looking at Arai Profile too. Qwest may be too round for my head.

Do you get any buffeting riding with the C3 and a windshield? How is the fit, is the helmet round, oval?

Just what I was going to ask, since I'm a long oval.
