If you use the search feature you'll find lots of threads where this has been discussed ad nauseum. Those that bought either one will tell you that's the best one. It's not like you'll go wrong choosing either.

The J&S and Pitbull are both very, very good jacks. I have a J&S and love it. The Pitbull has a larger footprint, raises the bike a few inches higher, and has grease fittings on the joints.

Both Great Lifts but after doing some checking the J&S fit my Sportster better and wanted the Lift for to both bikes .. If had just the Ultra would have gone with Pitbull..

I gotta agree w/HarleyRN, even if I'm no longer a whiskey drinker. Do some research, read some other posts & decide yourself which jack fits your bill. If cost isn't one of your main factors, J&S/PitBull are the spendier, but there are good jacks at a lower price too (HF, Sears, etc.). Of course I'll vote for J&S because I own one, but your checkbook takes the hit - so you decide.

Never did see what was so special about whiskey that tastes like charcoal..
That crap is just sooooo nasty, blechhh...

On another note, the Pitbull lift/jack is bigger, a little more expensive
and never have I heard on this forum that the bottle jack has blown out.
If you can catch them at a rally you can get one from them for $400. Cash and carry.
In the box it weighs 129 pounds. Serious tool..
