Sounds like you need to either find another tech to service your bike, or start doing all of your own maintenance with the Manuals close at hand.....

 

Great info. Took my FLHTCUSE2 in for its 1K service last week and watched "tech" pour a whole quart of Syn3 into the primary and then go back to the filling station to get "some more". Commented that I thought it only required a quart and he said "nope, if you've read the manual, it's wrong". While I'm still letting (uh, paying) for somebody else to do the maintenance, I try to watch 'em do it all - even if it's from 20 feet away. It helps me keep the faith!

 

Not to beat a deceased equine but... my owners manual clearly states 38 oz. I did my first 1000 the other night and have riden since...its all good.
