Same here, Velcro it to the underside of my RT glove box lid.

Once you start adding second and third bikes to the collection, spending to modify each one sounds like less of a good idea.

I'm with the carry-the-fob crowd. Put it in a jacket pocket, push the button from the outside. Or in the summer, it gives you something to add to the inevitable "why-do-you-wear-a-vest" threads on the general forum.

Hm, looks like a worthy mod, can you explain how you did this? I'm interested.

Default opener

Flash 2 pass, works with any garage door, takes 15 minutes to install. You can get them for about $55 on ebay.

Thanks Mastery! My door is right at the 7 year mark. I will need to do some checking to see if i need to increase the voltage.

Took one of my garage door remotes and opened it up, soldered two longer wires to jump the switch and put the case back together. Then the other end of the wires were soldered to a momentary switch that I bought from Radio Shack. Drilled a hole in my switch cover and installed the switch and zip tied the remote inside the fairing. Works great for a 9 volt battery operated remote. Some one on here did a pretty good write for the same mod. The only downfall is the fairing has to be removed to change battery. The upside is I didn't need to wire it to the bike and the battery that I replaced was at least 5 years old. Oh and like I aid the switch was about $2.99

No problem. Easy check with a voltmeter at the opener on the ceiling. From the reviews I read on the power supply, some people reported that they got better range from it installed. I'm just going to see how the unit works for me when it's installed before I decide to order the power supply.

Default New Chamberlain Opener

Last weekend I replaced my genie opener (died) with a new chamberlain opener. When I had the genie installed I also had the HD opener installed, worked every time. After installing the new opener and reconnecting the HD opener, the HD opener only works one time ( down). If I disconnect the power to the wall unit, and reconnect power the HD opener works one time. If I disconnect the the wall unit entirely and wire the HD unit directly the opener, works every time........WTF. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
