Metalkat, Curious what you mean by the well-nuts need to last longer? Are you changing them that much that they won't 'pop' back to original shape or the rubber getting hard and just not working?

I change my windshield out probably 5-6 times a year. After 2-3 times they get a little chewed up and get harder to bring back to original shape. Sometimes I lose one inside the fairing and don't want to open the fairing to get it out. So I keep a 5 in-stock at all times and they are pretty cheap to replace. Just think there may be a more "user friendly" idea.

We do have a darker tint, it is black. The pictures are of a 9" shield in dark tint. And to the question of the air flow and if the 9" is the replacement for the stock 12". We are in the testing phase right now to determine that. Thank you

How do ya'll test this. Is it based from rider perspective or is there actual wind tunnel testing with smoke and scales. KW claims to add down force but I've not seen any pictures or video clip to back the fact, other than the small pic on the website and thats not enough to go on.

I am looking forward to testing one as soon as you make one in a 14". My stock one is 15 1/4" and I can look over it just fine, but would like less buffeting for me and my wife. Tried a KW 16", but. It was too tall as it was in my sight line and it had no flip to move the air over my head.

No disrespect, I think you have your marketing plan backwards. IMO, you are going to get a bad reviews on those short shields due to colder air. You might have better reviews/sales with those shorties in warmer weather. I'm interrested in 12"-14" during winter riding season.

Where are you measuring from, the height of the actual shield or the vertical height....from top of the gauge cluster to top of mounted shield? The latter is a better choice.
