Default Finished The Road King Up

well, i finally got my 1998 road king police painted. did it myself of course. i painted it cobalt blue kandy base with cobalt blue kandy clear and cobalt blue micro metal flake. all the products i used were house of kolor ( of course) turned out about as nice as you could get.

heres the before picture (kinda small, but you get the idea)

and heres the after pix

i also bought a batwing fairing for it on ebay that is supposed to be a "quick detach". painted it up and went to throw it on, and SOB if the brackets arent to narrow to go on! the fairings a cheapo fiberglass china one off ebay ( you can put 2 6x9s and a stereo in it), $200 shipped and delivered. only thing is though ive got to figure out how to mount the SOB!

next project though is to figure out some fillers for the latch spaces on the boxes ( where the regular latches would have been had this not bee a police bike originally)

ive got some aluminum tape. i may try to cut me some fillers and put in there.

Looks really good. Side note - I hope the oil spots on the deck aren't from the bike
