Something else you may want to consider is replacing your saddle bag hinges with the Premium Tour pack hinges PN 79211-08a
I beleive the hinges used on your saddle bags are the same as the standard tour pack hinges and the Premium hinges should fit.
This will give you a clean fastenerless look on your saddle bags. the down side is there $50.00 a pair so you would need two sets. But for a Police saddle bag it would be money well spent.

are you talking about the seat that was on the bike, or the stock seat? ive got the seat you see in the original picture, then ive also got the orignal seat,pillion and backrest.
