Changing tank emblems... any tricks??

3M adhesive remover:
3M™ General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984
I swear by it. I believe NAPA sells it but I'm sure you can find it elsewhere. This is what professional paint shops use. Do not use a lesser product!
