Got to love living in Vancouver BC for year round riding - one of the few cities in the world where you can go skiing in the morning and sailing or golfing in the afternoon - or perhaps just a bike ride.

You may not be able to go too far outside of Vancouver in the Dec-Jan-Feb period, but I never take my insurance off or store the bike for winter. Can almost always find some time for a ride in a week. Good for recharging the batteries, both the bikes and mine.

Depends a lot on elevation too. I'm in southern WV and it snows like a biotch at times.

In Texas you will have to be south of Houston, to ride comfortable.
Dallas has ice and snow all winter it seems like.
I live half way between Dallas and Houston and can and do ride every month, but a little farther south would be better.

Sedona, Arizona. But you wouldn't like here. The people don't like immigrants.

I'm in Southern California, Los Angeles area. During the coldest months it only ocassionally gets below 40 at night and daytime highs can be anywhere from mid-50s and up.

Grew up in Ohio and this is way nicer!

I ride year round - Calgary Alberta Canada. You just have to wait for the chinook to come and melt the snow. <G>

Look's like this year will require some big ***** chinooks to clean up the snow and ice we got this past week.

I ride year round in Maryland. You just have to dress for it.
