sorry about your problem with Fox Creek.

I ordered the gf a set of chaps. we measured as they said, and the chaps were sent to us as ordered. once we got them, the gf decided they didn't fit exactly like she had wanted them to. we contacted Fox about making alerations. not only did they alter the chaps at NO charge, they paid for the shipping both ways.

I don't have a dog in this fight but it proves that one unhappy customer can and will have an affect on a companies product reputation. When they charge as much as they do they had better bend over backwards to help rather than bend you over backwards to slip it in. Just sayin.

There is always 3 sides to a story and I don't believe any of them......lol

Fox Creek is a couple hours from me I have a pair of their chaps and never had a problem out of them but I did get them at the CBA Swap meet in Charlotte several years ago so I did try them on before I bought them. Getting close to needing a new jacket and I will ride up to their place and get one as the quality is second to none IMO.

This is so true. If my second interaction with their customer service was like my first, no one would have read anything from me. For what I spent, on what I spent it on, I expected a better experience.

That doesn't sound like the Fox Creek that I know. Hope they were just having a bad day. Which is no excuse, when someone has a bad experience with a company usually nothing anyone else has to say can change their mind.
I ordered my wife a riding jacket from them and I ordered a medium, she wears a medium in everything... Well, except jackets from Fox Creek. When we got it and she tried it on it was obvious that it was too small. When I called and told them about it and that we needed a large the guy on the other end said it was no prob. He also wnet the extra mile by immediately shipping the new jacket before we had even sent the other one back. As everyone here knows things change, I just hope Fox Creek hasn't. Sorry for your bad experience.

I bought a vest last year, then a jacket and a pair of gloves a few months ago. Didn't have any problems with anything, great quality, great fit and first class service. I have not needed to return anything so can't comment on that end of it. But, I have been pleased. If there is a outfit out there with better quality, I haven't found them.

I don't get it. You are returning a defective product, they are crediting your card. What is the problem with that?? Why the "Buyer Beware"??????

The guy puts on some chaps and they break. He then calls to complain and someone on the phone tells him they dont have any in that size left. Common size, so yes chances are they are sold out. Now they say 8 weeks out but he want some now. OK they offer to refund his money because they cant produce any chaps for him. Again whats the problem?

This ain't the first "buyer beware" thread I saw, that turned out to be positive free press for the company. LOL

Lucky for him, because there are more cases making the news where people get sued over internet reviews. The companies subpoena the sites for your IP address.

Big one going on in Chicago right now. A butcher of a plastic surgeon is suing 3 women for over $100k each for complaining about him.
Their reviews were promised to be anonymous, but the site had no choice but to honor the subpoena. The doc refuses all comments to the news people.
