These are the same speakers I'm running with the Ultra's Stock 80 Watt Harmon Kardon system.
I'm really pleased with this set up - No problems hearing well at 80+ mph on the interstate.
I could go with an amp but really don't need one.
Hard Rock & Metal: Bass just past halfway,Trebel all the way up - AVC on 4

I have the Big Ultra kit with 8 speakers and amp. Rear, fairing, lower fairing and dash pod. My set-up is the amp runs all 6 speakers in the front and the stock stereo amp runs the rear speakers. Overall I am fairly satisfied but any cross wind will definatley affect the quality of sound. I don't think it matters what kind of system you get, you will not get a home stereo quality because of outside influences. Also, I don't think I could ever be 100% pleased as I always want more but for the money I think it was worth it.
