Get rid of the whitewalls and the deal looks OK.

I'd say it's a fair trade, especially this time of year. Lots of nice accessories on the FLHX, but they don't retain value. If you're looking to get into nice bagger w/loads of bells/whistles - go for it.

Why get a Deluxe fot the wife? The Heritage is the same basic bike, just not lowered, get a $50 lowering kit & strip off the bags to start, bet she'll want them back on to carry all her sh:t. I can't see why people buy a Deluxe & then add a windshield & bags & then have more in it than a Heritage, just MHO.

see what kind of deal you can work out for both bikes. They will work more if it's for two

My wife 5'2" got rid of her 07 1200L and got a 07 Heritage and lowered it. She says it is much easier to ride. Do that and you wont feel guilty about buying the Glide. +whatever on getting rid of the www.

Pulled the Trigger!!!!

$16,600 and $13,495 for my Heritage plus winter storage ($300 value). I kept the tires...kinda like them

http://images.psndealer.com/dealersi...95_4_large.jpg

Got the wife the Deluxe at another dealership. Got $6100 for the Nightster $15,100 for the 2008 Deluxe (Vance & Hines, bags, shield, lotsa chrome goodies, Engine guards, denim black and white w/ blue pinstriping) 3K miles belonged to a store employee's wife. Got them to throw in storage as well ($375 here!). We both had our eye on this particular color so that combined with all the toys on it, low miles, imaculate condition... we felt like it was a good deal. That price was on the low end of average reatail and we got above book for the Nightster.

We got 2.99% financing from our credit union so our payments are only going up about $40 combined.

Then we went to see the Allman Brothers last night...pretty good day!

Thanks for all the input!!!
