Question 2009 CVO Road Glide Exhaust - Anything Special?

Found an add for complete '09 CVO RG exhaust for $300. All I'm really looking for is some louder pipes to replace stock ones on '09 EG Classic and increase performance. I think I read the CVO RG has the cat in the head pipes. Do the CVO bikes come w/true duals. Would this system give me anything better?

It will have the cat and it is 2:1:2. A really well done pipe that works is the one from Jamie at Fuelmoto.

Not sure what the CVO slipons on an '09 sound like, but I have some from an '04 CVO and although they breath very well, they are about the same as stock in terms of loudness. If you are looking for loud, stock CVO slipons aren't it...you can mod them with Fullsac baffles though to make them louder.

I have the Fullsac headpipe, and CVO mufflers with Fullsac 2" baffles in them.. the sound is awesome!
not too loud but you can definitely hear it!
$300.00 is a lot of money for that exhaust, especially since you really can't use the headpipe because of the cat in it....

I bought the mufflers off of Ebay for $150.00

Save your money. $300 is too much for stock pipes that have the cats in them. Spend that $300 and get a better aftermarket set.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I was delusional thinking the CVO Screaming Eagle bikes came with a real performance exhaust system. Will have to keep looking for a deal on some slip ons...

Actually, for me, the CVO slipons perform pretty well. The bike runs great with them on, but they are so damned quiet I think I am riding a Gold Wing. So, needless to say, I am buying the Fullsac baffles for them. If you are OK buying stuff on ebay, you can get some screaming deals on used pipes and/or slipons.
