Bike tipped unloading - manual lost in move
I know, I know, read the manual. The problem with that is it has disappeared during my move from Florida to Illinois. '08 SG tipped over unloading from the trailer. Security flashers come on and I forgot the reset sequence. Your assistance is appreciated.

Thanks for the files. Unfortunately the system is returning an error message each time I attempt to open either file. Could I ask you to send them to my email address: jagrrr55_flhx@yahoo.com ? Thanks for the assistance. I need to ride even though it's only in the 30's at night!

Everything off and the system is not flashing.
Turn the switch to on.
Push both turn signals at the same time and hold until the alarm code screen appears - do not disturb the bike to set of alarm
Push the left turn signal the number of times needed to get the first #.
Then push the right turn signal to accept and move the cursor.
Repeat above until all numbers are in.
The bike will start. If you turn it off you must re-enter the code. Also, every thing must be done in three seconds or you need to start over.
I repeat if you move/bump the bike at any point in the procedure it will not work. You must wait until the signals quit flashing to try again.
My fob battery went out on a trip and I had the procedure down pat until I got to a store that had the 2032 battery.
Why do you need to input the code? After you up righted the bike they go off after a preset time. If you couldn't start after that then you need a new battery for the fob. The battery is on 24/7 and should be replaced each year.
I did the change procedure to make my code 11111. It is three times as fast to input and you can't forget it.
Doesn't impact your level of security as the flashing signals don't prevent three/4 guys picking it up and putting in the back of there beater van. Might make them laugh.

No type of security will be unbeatable. But, depending on location, 3 or 4 guys might not be able to put the scooter in the back of their beater van without attracting too much attention.

Thanks for mentioning this, lately both my FOBs have only been working sometimes, and I wondered if I might need a new battery.

I changed my code from 11111 to something I can't forget. If that, 11111, is the code used for new scooters then using the code defeats the purpose of having the system. It would be easier to just keep a FOB, with a good battery, mounted somewhere on the scooter. Perhaps in the headlight?
