I believe you are sol. As far as I know you would have had to be the original owner or have bought the bike within the first 2 years of manufacture. I don't believe there are any after market places that sell warranties for motorcycles.
You can only buy warranties if they are still in manufactures warranty. The only exception to this is when you buy a used bike from the Harley dealer. That is only for the ESP. There may be some other company that will sell you a warranty but you are too late for a Harley one
if you buy a bike from whoever while under 2 year warranty you can extend it 5more years and then extend it again for a additional 5 years for a total of 10...but after original 2 year warranty is up you have to buy from a dealer to get it and bike has to have under 75,000 miles and less then 10 years old
Bought 06 SG, did not take the warranty at time. If I choose to in the future, is there anything available to me ?
Bought the bike sept. 2010
I am the business manager at a Harley-Davidson dealership and as such I sell the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan. As of now you are not eligible to purchase this coverage. Sometime in the very near future that is likely to change. The way it would work is that as long as your bike meets the underwriting guidelines, ie years old and mileage, and after an inspection is passed you would once again be eligible to purchase the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan. Great deal for everyone!
