Default Least expensive mods to wake up a 103?

I've got an 11 limited with the 103, Im not noticing a hue difference in it and my 08 96....I've put the same V&H slip ons on it that I had on the 08....

I have a stage one off the 08 but not installed it yet...(dealer says the download is a waste of money, just raises the rev limit)

So, what are the inexpensive mods to wake up the motor....I usually make all my shifts about 3k-3200.....I'd like to keep the 45 mpg....but I'd like it pull a little stronger....I have 3k miles on it

Still regret not buying the blue one, but the rootbeer is still nice....

....Thanks

First of all, you have an honest dealer that tells you, "The download is a waste of money". That download is EPA compliant and just makes KA-CHING for the dealers.

Replace the headpipes to get rid of the cat, get a hi-flow a/c, and sespt and dyno. Yours old muffs will be ok. You will notice the difference and if you can keep from whackin' the throttle (it's fun) your mpg should not suffer.

I put all the stuff you see at the bottom of my post on myself. It runs very well and gets low 40's for mileage. The only bad part is I'm done!

All of the above mentioned and a set of SE 255 cams. Many opinions on this but the reality is the SE 255 cams pull hard down low and have less valve train noise than the offerings from other manufacturers.

I'd suggest a good set of cams & some thin head gaskets to bump the compression a little & get the squish tighter. You'll get all kinds of suggestions on cams & but I'm not as fond of the SE255s as a lot of people just because they come stock in the SE bikes. I think they're set up more for emissions than for good power & economy. Talk to a few good engine people & see what their recommendations are, Fuelmoto has a very good reputation & seem to have some reasonably priced packages. If your bike isn't fully broke in yet you might find you'd be happy with just a stage one, sounds like you already have the AC, so all you should need is a good exhaust to get rid of the cat & a good tune with a PC5 or sest, your dealers right a doenload is pretty worthless, good luck.

You could use a better cam, exhaust, tuning device & dyno tune.Any of those would help get you more. You could also get a thinner head gasket to raise the comp.It should hit like a sledge hammer then!!!
