Question your opinion on seats?

my only complaint with my new Ultra Limited is the uncomfortable seat. After 100 miles I am ready to get off. The RK I traded for this bike had a Mustang seat that I could ride comfortably all day and most of the night. Upgrading to a Mustang seat would be a no brainer if I had not seen the new air adjustable available from HD. Anyone have experience with this air seat, or care to share opinion on best seat to buy?

my stock seat was OK for me but my wife could not ride more than 100 miles. had the seat worked over by mean city cycles, for me it was nice, for her it OK added about another 50 miles to the trip, friend of mine had a Harley Hammock seat, that he was selling for someone he knew, he offered for me to try for the weekend, it is very nice, one of my riding buddies set on it and purchased one the following day, my wife told me to buy it on the way home from our test ride. since you are on an ultra you dint have to worry about losing the cool factor, not that your ultra isn't cool, just that the seat is very wide, and it will be hidden by your tourpak, on my road king it looks like I am stealing a mattress. the wife is happy, and gives me the green light for the solo seat when shes not riding.

I luv the seat on my 2011 RGU...at first I was thinking I was going to change the seat but it just needed to be broken in. Now at 3600+miles later I have no complaints except that I haven't gotten my backrest yet.

Stock Limited seat works fine for us but when the wife and tour pak are not on I run a 2011 street glide seat ( not pictured )

On my 05 EGC I had a air ride cop seat. The most comfy seat ever made.I could and did go 1000 plus days with on problem. Butt ugly, but your butt don't care.

On my 10 EGC I have had my stock seat worked on twice. Once to remove foam and once to add a gel pad. About 2 to 300 miles is all its good for. I'm looking for another cop seat. To hell with the looks, I want comfy.

Wife and I love our Sundowner. Road from Florida to Sturgis and back and no problems at all.

I had the road zep on my 03 Ultra and it was great. Yes it looked like the sofa but I could ride all day with no issues and Mama was happy to stay on the road all day with me. I am looking at replacing my stock limited seat because it hurts to ride more than an hour at a time and mama had to put her gel pad on to try and make any ride. I just can't make up my mind about going back to the zep or trying the new V2 Hammock.
