Vance and Hines Pro Pipe Hi-Output

Gotta add my $.02... I switched to the Pro Pipe H.O. from a Fatcat and I have to say I am completely satisfied with the new pipe. I gained about 7 hp from the Fatcat. (could have been a bad tune before, I dont really know). I love the sound too. Its a lower throatier tone than the D&D. Like Nightster said, these things are HOT without the sheilds. My woman was pissed about the pipes before I got the sheilds!

i've got a pumped up 103 so i went with the chrome v&h pro pipe, and it made a big difference, and the sound is incredible. the h.o. pro pipe requires a lot of cubes to really work right, and with a 103 i wanted to maintain the exhaust port velocity and scavenging which is affected by the header diameter. your h.o. pro pipe sure looks great, i bet she howls.

I just bought the V&H Pro Pipe (Chrome) but I am going to have it ceramic coated black. I got it for about 1/2 price with only 17mi on it so thats was the main reason I went with it instead of the Pro Pipe H.O. I can't wait to hear it.
Getting my garage built this week just in time to do my winter projects. Going to black out my RG. and paint my inner fairing,Man Santa was good to me this year.LOL

I have the VH Pro pipe hi output for my 2006 Street Bob / SE 120R project. I have heard a couple of sound clips on youtube of this combo and think it sounds better than the D&D.
That being said, I also have a 2010 Street Glide stage II 103 with a D&D Boss Fatcat with the big bore baffle and am very happy with that pipe for that application. As I recall the VH Hi ouput is intended for bigger cubic inch engines.

Indigofarm, Thanks A lot!!!!! I had the dealership put the heat wraps on right away. Another downside I've noticed from the wrap over the past couple weeks is that I keep burning my boot from either getting too close to the pipe or actually touching the wrap when my foot is on the floorboards. I continually seem to be scraping off part of my boot. I still really like the look of the wrap and wouldn't change it, but that might change come summer!!! I was told that the wrap would be able to come off down the road if I wanted it to. Good luck with the new bike!!!!
