I'm 6' 1" and also don't always sit up straight. The top edge of the stock was even with my eyesight most of the time and I found nighttime reflections annoying.

I just measured the 17. It measures 15.25" from the apex of the nacelle cutout to the top edge. Maybe it's 17" before it gets the 'flip treatment'. ??

I see you have the SEPST instead of a third-party tuner. Like it?
Your ride is 96"? I would really like to go with a 103 kit, Big Sucker, SEPST, SE Street Performance mufflers and V&H Power Duals. It's only money that's holding me back.

It is a 96" and I have no problem with the SEPST tuning device, its the guy trying to tune with it that has been a little difficult to deal with. I had to take it back to him recently because I was getting some detonation/pinging but all is well now. I got in 185 miles today and its running great! I tell ya, if money is a problem, you get a pretty good bang for your buck with the SE255 cams. Unless you ride in high rpm band alot, then its probably not for you.

I'm looking for torque, especially in low and mid bands. I'd actually like the 255s with a 103, but I'll just have to do it in stages - mufflers, AC, tuner, head pipe... then maybe 103 and cams.

I did about 160 miles today.

I have an 8" flip up on my SG. It does what it is designed to, however now that I have a lower seat I'm going to see if I cancer away with a 6 1/2". I look the look of the xstream/klockwerks style better though. The ultra flip would be at home on a full dresser.

I've got the 8 inch smoke Ultra on my SEEG, looks good and works great. Reasonable price too.

I have a 7" smoked flip up and a 11" clear flip up. No issues, good shield.

They don't call any of their's smoked, clear or Light, Med. or Dark Tint. I like the Light Tint on mine after having the Med. It provides a clearer vision in traffic when you do have a shorter line of sight. I look over them on the highway and prefer the X-Stream.

I currently run the 7" X-Stream and very happy with it. Prior to that I purchased the LRS 6" standard and was pleased with that as well, however the X-Stream provides me with less buffeting. I have also been pleased with LRS pricing and customer service.
