Default Kuryakyn Quick Adjust Tour-Pak Relocator Questions

Hello,

I have a 2009 FLHP Police Road King with the stock solo air suspension seat and a Tour Pak mounted on a solo detachable rack.

In order for the Tour Pak to allow the saddle bag doors to open, the pack needs to sit on 1.5" high risers as shown in the photo. I want to have the Tour Pak a bit more forward and I am thinking about the Kuryakyn Tour Pak relocator:

The detail says that it provides 1" forward and 3" backward adjustment. I am thinking that I need more forward adjustment then 1" and in looking at the install diagram:

It looks like if additional holes were drilled in the bottom plate shown in Pic 2 and 7 that it would get T Pak where I want it.

In Pic 7 it looks like there is about 3-4 inches of room to move the plate forward. Can anyone who has one of these kits let me know the distance of the 2 outer mounting holes to the back of the plate?

In addition, can anyone tell me how much lift of the T Pak this kit provides? It appears to life it up at least 1 inch.

THx for any input on this!

~Von
