Default Idle too high?

My injected 06 RK custom seem to idle a bit too high. I dont have that wonderful "will-it-die-or-wont-it" lumpy, potato-potato idle that my buddy's 06 carburated RK has.

I'd like to turn my idle down a smidge, but I aint sure if you can do it with a F.I bike. I have a PCIII and the laptop software.

Anyone know of a way to do this?

1k, and your buddy's should too, but many guys idle their carb models down to get that potato sound, but they are hurting the motor because the oil doesnt flow good at low rpms which can cause premature wear on the bearings.

I believe that you can adjust the idle with EFI bikes. When I lubed the cables and used my manual to take apart the housing, they talked of adjusting the idle and throttle if needed. But like gunrunner stated, you might not want to.

Idle on Delphi EFI bikes can only be done PROPERLY through the ECM, Via D/T, SERT, Twinscan or PC......

Cables have no play in adjusting the idle....

Cables are adjusted to get proper roll on and return.... and no slop or slack....
