Hello everyone,
I have looked around in the forum and I cant seem to answer my question. I have a 08 Road Glide non ABS that currently has heritage style bars and I will be changing them with Wild One 12.5" (WO502B). I will be using +6 cables. Is there any surprises that I need to address before I get into it. For example is there enough slack in the wiring to make it fit or do I have to splice into the wiring? Do I need a throttle by wire extension? Any input would be appreciated.

Just because no one else replied: I recently just installed W0518's on my bike. Stock cables worked, but as for wiring, I had to go +9" to go through the bars with out undo stress on the connectors. Others have said that you can get extension wires for the throttle.

 

thanks for the reply. did you just buy a kit that had OEM color matched wires and splice it?
