Default What's everyone using to clean their Ultra wheels?

I was wondering if anyone is using a wheel cleaning product like Eagle one or McGuires wheel cleaner. I have used both of these products on my car wheels with good results. Thought maybe I could spray the bike wheels and rinse off getting the same good results as on my cars.I didn't really want to get the Harley wheel cleaner unless it really is better than some of the other products.Your comments are appreciated.

I'll be interested in seeing the responses here too. So far I've been using a jack (to rotate the wheel), a couple different sized paint brushes, a bucket of car wash soap, and too much time!!! But they do look nice!

Well I lift my bike to be able to rotate wheels and apply WD40 on a rag to wipe my rims (not tires)

I don't have a problem with the cleaner. I have a problem with the cleaning! Between the fenders, brake discs, and all the other stuff around the wheels, can't reach 'em!

Simple green and an assortment of small long handle scrub brushes. maybe a little scotch brite action on the aluminum if they are excessively grimy.

I use a soft bristle toilet bowl brush. Can reach most of the wheel without jacking up the bike.

I removed the oem 28 "spoke" wheels and replaced them with the 9 spoke chrome wheels from Harley. Then I bought a J&S jack. Total cost was about $2,000 but wheel cleaning went from 2 hours to about 20 minutes. Also, the aluminum was impossible to clean and the chrome can be shined up with a kleenex. The bike looks way better with the new wheels too.

Never use paper on chrome, you'll get micro scratches. Use cotton or microfiber instead.
