I realize we need to be able to trust what some of these test results are but if Amsoil is doing the testing isn't that kind of like the Fox counting the Chickens?

What I do know is the Royal Purple MAX-Cycle 20W50 is some expensive stuff and I sure would like to know if it is really worth it.

I guess my problem is, I don't know what to listen for. I have only been riding a Harley for 3 months and they all sound like thrashing machines compared to the Goldwing engines.

I really didn't want to give away all the results of products tested, but seems like your idea of peanut oil would be worth a try, but how do you drain the oil out of a peanut?

Look, any good motorcycle oil is going to do fine, any syn. oil is going to a little better than them, royal purple is good, amsoil and mobil1 are too, syn 3 from from harley isnt pure syn, so I dont use it.
