Default Tour Pak & tail lights by Radiantz & Kuryakyn w/pics

I wanted to light up the back of my Road King Custom. To do this I added a set of lower saddle bag lights from Kuryakyn and a lighted fender skirt also from Kuryakyn. For the times when I have my tour pak mounted, I also installed a custom flexible LED array from Radiantz. The Kury lights act as a run and brake light. The strip from Radiantz acts as a run, brake and turn signal. The first pic shows the lights in their running mode.

.
The second pic shows the bike with the emergency flashers lit. When the brakes are applied, the center portion of the tour pak strip gets brighter.

.
Sorry for the picture quality. I was very pleased with the parts and install. I had to pick up a weather proof 6 pin connector with which to rewire my detachable tour pak. Hope these pics may help you decide if this is a route you want to go.

I really like that! I have been thinking of adding the new LED Harley Lights to my King Tour Pack But I dont want to drill 100 holes i it and its very expensive!

Would you mind taking a few more pictures of it up close in the day time? How is it held on? How did you wire it?

Sorry for all the questions but Im really considering this after seeing your pictures.

Great job!

The part numbers are 4713-15 (for the strip light with all the elements) and 6121-00 for the dual element assembly (required to have the center strip act as a run and brake light). I would encourage you to call Radiantz directly as they were very helpful with all my questions. Here are a few closer pics.
.
This pic shows how I mounted it just under the lip of the bottom tub of the tourpak. It is mounted with self adhesive tape that came already applied to the LED strip. I have put about 6,000 miles on the bike (a lot of that in rain) since I installed this and it is still very tight. Just make sure you clean the area well with rubbing alcohol.

.
This pic is of the inside of the TP. I had to drill a very small hole in the back to thread through the wires. This is the only part that I am not 100% happy with because the only way I could come up with to protect them, until they disappear behind the liner, was to cover them with 100 MPH tape. Hopefully you can see this in this pic. If anyone has a better idea here, please chime in.

.
This pic is where I placed the 6 pin connector. It actually tucks up underneath the seat, I just pulled it down to show where I placed it. When I remove the TP there are no visible wires. I tied the connector in to the wiring harness under the seat by soldering in to the appropriate wires and using shrink tubing to cover up the joint.

.
Hope this helps.

I have a shorter length strip but went with the smoked tube so its almost invisible until activated....I mounted mine down lower on the quick detach bracket.
