Well? Have your sources to cite? Or were you just talking out of your ***?

Only thing worse than someone arguing a point without research, is someone who lies to try and advance theirs.

Great picture, Quadancer....with or without the car tire !

Even after 950+ posts on this thread, it is apparent that most of the naysayers here must not have been riding too long....If they had, they would know what motorcycle tires used to be, in terms of shape and design. The 5.10 x 16 tire rear tire was the rear tire of choice "back in the day" when chopping. Here's a nice example:

These tires are still being made and used. To say a non-rounded tire will not work on a motorcycle is just plain ignorant.

Went on second darkside ride today. 200 miles, mountain roads with wife on back. Wow what a differance, smooth as silk, stable, and corners like there is no ones on back. Will do a 300 mile freeway test this week. Happy camper so far.

I put an achilles 195/60/16 on my FLHTK 2010,I balanced it by using .26 gram airsoft bb's 114 of these is equal to 1 ounce i put 3 ounces in the tire 100 miles per hour, awesome.Traction is greater,on all surfaces including rain, gravel, grass.the tire was 82$ on ebay free shipping.I put 35,000 miles annually on my bike mc tires dont last and too expensive.Wont go back, love this tire corners like its on rails.

PS Fat Tony must sell mc tires. If you havent tried it dont bother replying to me negatively.Im living it.I just rode 500 miles in the rain from arkansas to texas and never got under 70 mph 1 badass tire.MC tire 8 inches paid for 3 inches used.CT 8 inches paid for 8 inches applied to the pavement and absorbs all shock rather than deliver it to the rider.
