Finally found a tire that will give my new toy some decent traction,Not quite a Dot slick but very close, expect to get near 8000 miles provided there are not too many burnouts.10" tread width, 40 sidewall, 18" wheel.These V8's are hard on tires just because the accelleration rate can be so addictive.

Why would you need Mag wheels for a CT? I'm running the same Dunlop 407 on my Wire wheels with a tube, that every other Touring bike with Mags run tubeless????

Regarding the CT, you would think it would increase the chance of hydro-planing...

But we are thinking about adding a sidecar to the FLH and might consider the CT then...

My 2 cents.....been running car tires for years on a Honda now my 09 RK....no risk...handles well...better mileage....my opinion is...unless you tried it.... your opinion really doesn't count for much more than here say.....I wont go back.

How many miles a year do you ride? What about gas mileage?

I posted yesterday than it's been discontinued.

This makes me wonder whether the engineers and folks at the MOCO have tested car tires...if they really perform this well, you would think given the price break and longevity that they would make them standard issue. Certainly an intriguing option...
