Always remember...you can't put anything false on the internet.
...I learned that on the internet.
I think that my failed attempt at Darksiding was the tire I used. I believe if I'd have used one of the tires that have previously been used I'd have liked it better...or if I closed the rim to go tubeless...
I'm willing to try it again using an ulterior method.

Had a 2011 RK and went darkside on that. Really liked it especially when I had to brake hard for deer or Oscar and Minnie Grope in their belch fire 8. Oscars blind ya know.
Never had any probs with the handling. Different but not bad even on gravel and tar snakes. Could run 90s with no probs and at 68yrs that's fast enough.
If you don't want to do it don't if you do do it.
Oh and for some reason my ds tire held air better than the OE did??
I am going back!
Balanced with 3oz DYNA BEADS. Two oz in front. Worked great.

I like to suggest RideOn since I've started running it; it took care of some lateral imbalance in the Austone where beads didn't. I'm getting some for the front too; had a front flat recently and the beads did balance out the plug, but lost a lot of the crew to stick to it. We never would have had to stop if I'd had the RideOn in it. It balances same as beads too.
