Default Heated Grips

Anyone tried Heat Deamon grips? I saw some in a dealer in MN, they looked pretty neat. Not sure how hard they are to install. The one interesting thing, is they can make any grip a heated grip and they were about $130. The company started making heated grips for snowmobiles.

From what I've read in other threads is that heated gloves (or liners) are a better choice than the grips.

Heat deamos are really good....Install is not for novices if your going to do it yourself. But the product is excellent...so is the price......

I just put them on. Work great and a relatively easy install.

Heated grips are the only thing I miss not having on my RK that I had on my BMW. It's just one more accessory I look forward to adding later. I'll be checking out the Heat Deamons.

I have heard great things about them. I run the HD ones and many have had problems as I have to but it only boiled down to the plugcam loose in the end of the right grip just plugged it back in with a little silicone around the edge running great from then on. The install on the HD set should be pretty straight forward and an easy bolt on also I just changed barsand it was real easy.

I have had them on both my 04 road king classic and my 08 ultra. I live in North Carolina and they work great for those early morning rides and evening trips back home.

Very true. Heated grips do nothing for the cold wind blowing against the front side of your fingers. Gloves are easier to wire up and cost about the same.
