In stock form mine was the same..no power in the top end. Added jackpot slip ons. slight change. Then added the big sucker intake and a PCV from fuelmoto..what a diff. The front shocks top out under accelration and I get in the rev limiter way too quick. Stage one makes a big diff.

WOW. I only have 700 on my clock and have not had it past 3500 yet, it runs like a raped ape till then, have not broken it in good yet. I already have klock werks 4 in supersavers for it, I am trying to contact Jamie at fuel moto for prices on the a/c kit and pc5, still waiting on his response. When i get back home in Apr 11 from Iraq, gonna put the other 300 miles on her, take it in for the first free service then install my mods. I hope to pull hard till 5 grand, we will see. Should I wait till after the 1k service to install my mods or do it right when i get home? Thanks everyone.

mine pulls hard but Jamie and the guys at Fuel Moto did a stage 2 on her cams, full exhaust, intake and a dyno tune.

I'm at 5k now on my Limited and feel a noticable difference in the engine. Feels a lot looser. Can't wait until I do my stage 1.

As the engine isn't completely broken in until about 5K miles or so (from what I've learned here on this forum), I wouldn't take your current engine performance as a true indicator until after a few more miles.

I'm only 3K miles into this theory myself, however....

when you say replace the air cleaner, do you mean just the filter, or go with a more open housing?
thanks for all the replies

The assembly. Upgrade to a Stage 1 - Harley Screamin Eagle or others.

If you want to wake it put cams let it breathe in and out more freely and some sort of fuel Mgmt system. You have lots horses but they are on very tight leashes due to frikin EPA & HD is kinda greedy to sell you more chit.

Is this due to the restriction of the stock air cleaner and exhaust?
That describes my stock motor exactly.
Not an issue now.
