V&H Widows - 7,000 miles on them and so far they look as good as new... (love the sound)

 

Went to black thunderheaders this year. My only criticism is they don't look black enough, more like a dark charcoal, but I might be overly critical for $800. See my pic.

 

I had the RUSH headers and mufflers in black, never any problems. Got them from Frank @ Dragos.

 

My wife and I have both been running V&H black ceramic with no problems.

 

Had to go black with my Fat Cat.

Do you want style or performance?

 

I've got a year and 8500 on my Thunderheader, still looks good. I installed with cams/dyno tune at 3k, miles. Perhaps it wouldn't look as nice if I didn't have the bike dynoed due to more heat...

 

Beemervet, I actually like the look of both style wise. I am considering doing a 103 build next year so Im leaning towards a 2-1 for performance reasons.
