ABS brake line cost
Does anyone know a good vendor to get a front brake line for a 09 FLHT with ABS? Also what is the cost of this. I am thinking of doing apes on my bike, but I heard rumor that the lines are VERY expensive. Last bike (no ABS) my brake line was like $60 bucks... don't see why it'd be too much more.

I got my extended front brake lines - ABS from HD. The lower diamond black braided was around $250.00; with the upper for 16 inch apes they were well over $300.00. The lower comes as a set for the ABS systems.
You do not need to change the lower lines; which are the expensive ones to install Apes. I wanted to go to braided lines.

I believe some of the ABS lines run at higher pressures than standard brake lines but I am not 100% certain. If you are going to an alternative source I would do a bit of research on that and stress this to the supplier. Personally I would ask them for certification verifying the hose is good for the higher pressures - if this is the case of course
